In Trusting God Against All Odds, I Must...
1. See that my situation is often a setup to save others.
(1 Samuel 30:1-6)
-Sometimes God will "tap" you to show you that he trusts you, trials is a trust issue. God says "I'll turn your nay-sayers into believers." The more you fight with PEOPLE, the less you trust God.
2. Seek and Submit to do God's Will
(1 Samuel 30:7)
When seeking the will of God...
a. Be sure you have a clean conscience from your past (Hebrews 10:22)
b. Count the cost (Luke 14:28)
c. Be filled with the spirit of God (Ephesians 5:18)
3. I must stay focused and determined. (1 Samuel 30:9)
4. Stick it out and finish the job. (1 Samuel 30:16-19)
Side Notes-
Remember God's goodness to you, when the odds are stacked against you.
(As leaders encouraging yourself in God)
Develop a daily quiet time with God,
Take time to wait and listen.
Take the journey for other people.
