Mary J. Blige proved she's not just good at selling records. According to AOL Black Voices, the hip hop soul queen visited the Home Shopping Network on Friday and Saturday to sell her recently released fragrance "My Life" -- and quickly sold 50,000 bottles!
At 12:11 a.m. on Sunday, August 1, Blige rejoiced, "Fam! We did it! We broke records with the My Life fragrance on HSN and made history once again! 50K sold!" (Via Twitter)
Each of the bottles was accompanied with a gold clutch. A percentage of the sales went to send young women to college through Blige's non-profit FFAWN.
