Daily Bread for Wednesday: Bananas!

It's a cliche' but, it should be applied in our daily lives when it comes to people that are in our lives. "One monkey doesn't stop the show," and it shouldn't!!

It doesn't matter who they are, how close they are, people will be people. Typically, the only one that will go all the way with you is Christ. Sure, the support of others is beneficial, but you should be able to go on if no one shows up, if no one cheers you on.

Without being arrogant, you should be able to believe in yourself and what you are called to do. You should be able to be "ok" if no one believes in what you're doing and if no one has your back, know that God has it. We all have nay-sayers somewhere along the way to convince us that we should stick with being average, but it's up to us to want more-even if no one else wants it for us. Go on! One Monkey doesn't stop the show!!

Encourage yourself, believe in what you're doing, and be flattered when others decide to catch up.
