We all get to the point where we'd like to rush time, whether it's from work, traffic, or event that wouldn't necessarily be on the top of our list. If you had the ability to speed up time, what would you accomplish? Is going home and getting some rest helping you leave a legacy? I agree that sleep is necessary to live a healthy life, but there is more to life than being idle.
When you know that you have a purpose, you savour each moment. When you do what you love, time flies. More often than my daughter would like, I can't seem to take my eyes off of her. I look at how much she has grown already, and how much she's growing everyday. Whenever I want my day to "fly by" I think about the fact that if time changed it's speed, my little girl wouldn't be so little anymore.
Instead of wishing that time would fly by, find something that you love to do & work on that being your full occupation, people that I know that do what they know they're created to do often say they don't know where the time has gone.
You have a purpose, it's up to you to find it. It's up to you to live a happier life. It's up to you to savour the moment and not take any of them for granted. Moments like this, we don't always have, people that are around us, will not always be around us. Take the time to cherish every moment as much as you can. Work on leaving your mark and your legacy, rather than rushing God and what he has created.
"Each day is a gift, that's why we call it the present"
In His Love,
