GOD'S RESPONSE
Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you. Psalm 39:7
O Lord, you alone are my hope. I've trusted you, O Lord, from childhood. Psalm 71:5
Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And because God raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory, your faith and hope can be placed confidently in God. 1 Peter 1:21
The Lord is our source of hope because his promises are true. We lose hope when we stop believing that. The Resurrection, the greatest event in history, is the foundation of your hope. Jesus promised that he would rise from the dead, and because he did, you can be assured that every other promise God makes to you will also come true.
